| Paws in the Sand
The Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) at Flagler College and the Saint Augustine Humane Society are teaming up for the 1st Annual "Paws in the Sand" Dog Walk-A-Thon!
The event will be held at beautiful Butler Beach Park East on SR-A1A and includes a one mile walk on the beach, dog training andSt. Johns County K-9 demonstrations, music, food, and prizes. The walk-a-thon is open to dogs and their owners and runs from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The walk takes approximately 45 minutes, so start and finish times are flexible There will be plenty of fun activities for the whole family, even if you don’t own a dog. The cost is $15 to register each dog online. Pledges may be entered online with final votes being tallied at 10:59:59 am EST. Each dog & owner team is encouraged to reach a minimum goal of $200 to be entered into the drawing for the Grand Prize Gift Basket. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top three dog walk teams with the highest pledge amounts.
