The St. Augustine Humane Society PetMatch and re-homing service is offered as a means to bring people and pets together. We advocate responsible pet ownership, but sometimes people must give up their beloved pets. You can post your pet on this site for no charge. The public will have free access to search the site for pets available from owners and will find information to contact you directly. Please read the guidelines thoroughly on the Re-Homing page.

You are required to complete the PetMatch Registration Form to have your pet placed on our Available Pets page.
Your pet must be neutered or spayed and must have a current rabies vaccination to be eligible for adoption. Our Spay Shuttle program can help you with these services. You may want to ask for a re-homing fee from the new owner to help you cover these expenses.
In most cases, the SAHS will review your application to post your pet within 48 hours. If there are questions or concerns about your pet, the SAHS will contact you. Otherwise, your pet will be posted for the public to see. Once posted, wait for emails or phone calls from people interested in adopting your pet.
In order to keep the site up-to-date and fresh, each animal you post for re-homing will be removed from display after 30 days. You will be contacted and asked if you would like to renew.
To use this service, register your pet by completing the following PetMatch Registration Form and submit.
We also ask that you email a photo of your pet to clerical@staughumane.org (please be sure to send your name along with the photo)
By submitting the following form, you agree to manage the adoption privately, and hold St. Augustine Humane Society harmless.
