Working Together to Save Lives

Adoption Options

Our mission now focuses on prevention!  Preventing pet overpopulation, and preventing the need to relinquish pets to shelter.  There simply are not enough homes for our animal friends, so we encourage you to consider adoption today. We offer several recommendations on adoption and there are many resources in our community to find and adopt a new best friend! Please call us at 904-829-2737 for more information.

If you have recently adopted a new best friend, stop in to see us and receive a free dvd full of dog or cat training tips! This is a wonderful tool for new adoptive parents and for those who might need to upgrade their skills!

Re-Homing and PetMatch
Our Virtual Adoption Service is now available.  Please continue to the
Re-Home Your Pet page if you must find a new home for your beloved pet. Or, continue to Available Pets  to find a pet ready to be adopted.

With the ultimate goal of keeping pets with families, we do maintain a foster network to care for homeless animals, Please visit our Petfinder.org listing of available pets.  We also recommend visiting the SJC Pet Center, our community shelter, when searching for a new pet.

We have many cats in foster care, waiting to be adopted.  Our cat adoption coordinator, Sherrie Moore, will help you find the perfect match for your family.  Visit petfinder.org to view adoptable animals or call us directly for the most up-to-date information.
