Abandoned to Adored.......Freckles

Freckles, an American bulldog, has been adopted.   The American Bulldog breed is known to be loyal, reliable, and brave.  The breed is also known for its acts of heroism towards its master.  St. Johns County Animal Control found him in an abused state and very skinny and in desperate need of help.

Freckles was initially placed with a humane society volunteer and experienced bulldog owner, Wendy Perry who gave him the tender loving care that he never knew.  Also, local veterinarian Dr. Tom McNicholas, donated treatment for Freckles’ heartworm condition and is overseeing the dog’s medical rehabilitation.

Freckles has now found a wonderful family to call his own and has a bright future
